Control Cabinet Design and Fabrication

We worked with a company with operations in Mississippi on the controls architecture, design and build for their first sawmill. Podium completed a design and build in less than 4 weeks for a high-voltage panel and low-voltage panel, separating the large VFDs from the PLC and connection points for sensors. This allowed us to concentrate all 480V in the high voltage panel, reducing the risk of EMI and arc flash.

A warehouse automation technology company approached Podium to design and build prototype units for their dynamic, high-density storage system. We partnered closely with their engineering team to understand requirements before design was locked, then completed a bottoms-up design and build that incorporated customer-specific requirements.

We recently built and shipped four UL508A control panels for an industrial water filtration equipment company - a main PLC panel, two remote IO panels and a motor control cabinet. Our customer was looking for quick-turn build to deliver the project on time and turned to Podium Automation to complete the assembly within weeks.

Our aerospace & defense customer wanted a standard cabinet design to use across their test infrastructure needs. The goal was for the control cabinet to cover at least 80% of their applications with sufficient space for any bespoke tailoring. Podium designed and built a series of control panels for distributed use cases, with a plug and play approach using bulkhead plates and spares.

A clean energy startup that is creating synthetic natural gas from sunlight and air came to Podium with a need for a quick-turn unit for their first pilot. Once the high-level requirements were aligned for PLC manufacturer and environment, Podium completed the design and build within 2 weeks.
